Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk Fight Card Betting Odds

By now, you’re well aware of the upcoming clash that will see Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) vying for the undisputed heavyweight championship at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on May 18. This twelve-round bout will be broadcast live on DAZN pay-per-view worldwide, ESPN+ PPV, PPV.com, and Sky Sports Box Office in the United Kingdom. But let’s not dwell on the obvious. Instead, let’s explore prop betting lines that could make your investment in this event even more thrilling.

The undercard features a heavyweight contest between Agit Kayabel (24-0, 16 KOs) and Frank Sanchez (24-0, 17 KOs). Sanchez has been in the better competition, so most books have him as the two-to-one favorite. Kayabel matches up style-wise to make this an opportunity to get a nap. I’m expecting a tactical contest here. Smash any over-round prop you can find, and expect this fight to go all thirty-six minutes. DraftKings has a line at 10.5.

Jai Opetaia (24-0, 19 KOs)  is running back his matchup for the IBF cruiserweight title against Martin Bredis (28-2, 20 KOs). If you forgot what happened in their first fight in 2022, Opetaia was well in control until Bredis had him reeling from shots in the later rounds but held on for the unanimous decision victory. Many expect the same here as the line reflects sportsbooks want to avoid making the same mistake twice. Take any stoppage bet on Opetaia as it’s only a matter of when it happens. Most books also have this going under 9.5 rounds at plus money, which I like.

The main event for heavyweight supremacy between Fury and Usyk is close, with Fury as a slight favorite. The props are aplenty for this one, and if we get a knockdown or two, it will be profitable. One prop bet on DraftKings is if we get a knockdown in the first six rounds of this fight at plus money. If you believe in history repeating itself, pick Fury by decision, as that would recreate the outcome heading into the Lennox Lewis rematch, defeating Evander Holyfield in 1999.

Bet365 has Fury favored at -125, with Usyk getting +100. While over at Fanduel, Fury is also favored at -118, with Uysk at -102. William Hill has Fury at -115, with Usyk at -105. The line trend movement shows that the money is coming in for Usyk, hence the different odds at various sportsbooks.
