The WWE is heading back overseas this weekend as they host Crown Jewel 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Like boxing, the WWE is part of Riyadh Season as the Saudis continue to elevate their events to attract more tourism.
Although initially a show that relied on the scheduled Crown Jewel title matches between Cody Rhodes & Gunter and Nia Jax & Liv Morgan, it looks like the event needed more of a boost. Insert the New Bloodline consisting of Solo Sikoa and the Tongas going up against Roman Reigns & The Usos. It’s a matchup that we all thought would be saved for Survivor Series on November 30 but instead, we are getting the first version of it on Saturday. Is this matchup too soon for a chapter in the storyline that feels like it is just beginning to catch fire?
This card is filled with matches that have the potential of stealing the show. The WWE is going all in on this Crown Jewel 2024 card, and all that is left is for the event to kick off on Saturday afternoon here in the States.
