With Fanatics Fest taking place all week, athletes and celebrities from all over are in New York, making Saturday’s event even more anticipated, as you never know who might pop out. One cameo isn’t a surprise, as it was announced a few days ago that New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson will accompany Roman Reigns to the ring, which looks to be an opportunity for both stars to get a rub from one another.
The match with the most interest from fans is CM Punk and Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn and Gunther. With SummerSlam just around the corner, I’m curious to see whether WWE uses this match to further build the Punk vs. Rhodes story. This could be the moment when Punk turns heel if that’s the direction. We’ll see how it all plays out.
