The winner could be, or should I say, should be, in line for a shot at either David Benavidez (world champion) or Dmitry Bivol (super champion) if the WBA handles it correctly. We shall see, but first, Thursday’s fight must happen, and a big performance by either fighter could set up a fight with one of the division’s champions later this year.
