Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou Gets An Explosive Trailer

We are about ten days away from the “Knockout Chaos” event, which will stream live on DAZN PPV (also available on PPV.com) next Friday, March 8. Former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will face former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. Earlier today, Turki Alalshikh posted the brand-new trailer for the event, which was explosive.

The trailer had a Def Jam Vendetta video game-type feel to it, which was huge in the early 2000s. It showed Joshua and Ngannou fighting in the streets and having energy levels like a Street Fighter video game. The trailer has a ton of savvy digital work, making it one of the best to date. All that is left is for the fight to deliver on the action.

It’s been relatively quiet regarding the actual promotion of the event, but it looks as though the Saudis will leave the heavy push until the last two weeks of their events. Knockout Chaos is on a Friday, so it’ll be interesting to see how well this event does with it being on a weekday and the main event being early evening here in the States.

The co-main event features interim WBO heavyweight champion Zhilei Zhang, who will face Joseph Parker in an intriguing matchup. Zhang is coming off two brutal stoppages over Joe Joyce, while Parker gave Deontay Wilder a boxing lesson. There is no question that the winner of this fight will be up for a title shot or Joshua towards the end of the year.

While we await the calendar to arrive on March 8, fans can enjoy the programming associated with the event that will begin rolling out as the trailer has set those things in motion.
