The talk is over, and we are just hours away from the unified heavyweight title fight between the unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk(22-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs). Like the first fight in May, as we head into fight night, media and fans are split down the middle on who they feel will come out on top. Will it be another dominant performance by Usyk, or will Fury have another special performance in his arsenal? OLEKSANDR USYK VS. TYSON FURY 2 PREDICTION
Holt McCallany, Hollywood Actor (61st Street, The Iron Claw, Mindhunter): Usyk
Usyk vs. Fury 2 is one of the most exciting heavyweight match ups in recent memory. Both men have ways to win but only one is undefeated. The great Oleksandr Usyk has never lost a professional fight and he won’t lose this one either. He’ll find a way inside and hand Fury his first loss by TKO. My pick is Usyk by late round stoppage. (Holt McCallany will be starring in the Netflix series The Waterfront and the movie Mission Impossible-The Final Reckoning in 2025.)

I think we are going to see the same fight as the last one all over again. I think Fury is past the point in his career where he can maintain 12 rounds of stamina. Usyk being the smaller guy, I feel like he knows how to conserve his energy better. Usyk by decision again but this time unanimous. Victor Fields, Contemporary Jazz Vocalist: Usyk
It’s a 50/50 fight between two heavyweights in their late 30’s. Fury’s has to come in focused and in good condition. He’s got a great jab, a nasty uppercut and a 7” arm reach advantage. Usyk will have more confidence because he won the first fight. His southpaw style and body attack could pay dividends late in the fight. If he survives the early rounds, I have Usyk winning again by spit decision.

I’m going to go with Tyson Fury on this one. I think he’s going to scrutinize and adjust any aspect of his style that contributed to his loss and pull every trick out of the bag to win. I don’t necessarily think Fury is the better fighter at all. Usyk is a ‘top of the game’ boxer but Fury’s physically, mentally capable, and willing to make massive adjustments to secure the win. Tyson Fury by split decision.
Dj Scream, (Big Facts Podcast on Revolt TV, The Dj Scream Show on IHeart Radio): Fury
It’s the most difficult fight to call. A true 50/50 fight. A part of me feels like Fury pulls it off so they can have an epic third fight. That’s what I want to think but Usyk is an animal. I don’t see anyone scoring a knockout. I still think Fury pulls it out by decision.

The panel is leaning towards a Usyk victory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, but Fury is just a next-level fighter who seems to rise to the occasion when everyone counts him out. It’s a tough call, but I’m going to go with Fury by split decision, and we will get the third fight in 2025.
