2026 has been a banner year for DAZN, as it formed a new partnership with Top Rank and extended partnerships with Matchroom and Golden Boy. Today, DAZN solidifies itself as the “home of boxing” with its new partnership to run through the remainder of this year with Premier Boxing Champions (PBC).

It’s a deal first reported by Brunch Boxing on Tuesday, ahead of today’s press conference for WBA welterweight champion Rolando Romero vs. Teofimo Lopez, which takes place on August 22.

The following is an excerpt from Thursday’s press release.

The first event in the new agreement will take place on Saturday, July 25 with the return of Errol Spence Jr. taking on Australian superstar Tim Tszyu and continue with another blockbuster event when Rolly Romero and Teofimo Lopez clash on August 22 in Las Vegas on DAZN on Prime Video, in a high-stakes showdown between two of boxing’s most explosive and outspoken talents.

Together, DAZN and PBC will deliver a consistent schedule of major fight nights through your subscription (kicking off with non-PPV events on September 19 and October 17), alongside Pay-Per-View events exclusively on DAZN on Prime Video, combining global distribution with elite talent.”

As reported by Lance Pugmire for Boxing Scene, a larger commitment will soon be announced, which would see PBC on DAZN for the foreseeable future. This is great for boxing, as it should deliver the biggest fights without any political roadblocks.

The only question that remains is whether all of these acquisitions will increase the price of DAZN in 2027. Guess we will have to wait and see, but for now, DAZN and its Ultimate subscription are worth the price of admission.
