Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez vs Christian Mbilli: Live Stream, Betting Odds & Fight Card

After plenty of social media chatter about whether Saturday’s event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WBC super-middleweight champion Christian Mbilli (29-0-1, 24 KOs) and his opponent Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (63-3-2, 39 KOs) have both arrived to kick off fight week.

It’s been a little over 13 months since Canelo last fought and suffered a unanimous decision loss to Terence Crawford in Las Vegas, Nevada. After surgery and time away from the ring, Canelo is back to try to become a world champion at super middleweight. Will age and time away from the ring affect him in this fight, or is Mbilli just the right opponent for him?

Mbilli was on the same Canelo card 13 months ago and hadn’t fought since. That night, his bout with Lester Martinez was a split draw and a Fight of the Year candidate, as both fighters emptied the tank. Although Canelo thrives against fighters who come forward, can Mbilli bring something different to give him the edge on fight night?
