The WBO champion Teofimo Lopez (20-1, 13 KOs) will defend his title against Steve Claggett (38-7-2, 26 KOs) in a fight that appears to be a showcase on the surface.

Lopez’s last fight was against Jamaine Ortiz in February, when he squeezed out a unanimous decision in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight was far from entertaining, and it wasn’t a good night for the 26-year-old Lopez. Can he regain his momentum with a big win on Saturday night?

Claggett has been fighting in Canada for the last few years and earned a second-round TKO over Marcos Gonzalez in January, which set him up for this fight against Lopez. Claggett is 35 but has the experience of sharing the ring with world-class fighters, so he may be tougher than expected.
