Like a Dave Chappelle skit in the 2000s, former Super Bowl champion for both the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Bucs, Tom Brady, had his five fingers yell SLAP in Logan Paul’s face. The scene erupted between the former WWE U.S. Champion and the 3-time NFL MVP at Fanatics Fest, which kicked off Thursday, July 16, and will run through Sunday, July 19.

White Brady’s right hand undoubtedly made contact with Paul’s face; he also seemed to hold back, pulling his shot—perhaps waiting to deliver a full blow at this year’s SummerSlam event next month. The two-night affair will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, already scheduled to host two big title fights between CM Punk-Cody Rhodes and Roman ReignsSeth Rollins, as well as Brock Lesnar’s potential swan song against Oba Femi in Hell in a Cell in “The Beast’s” hometown.

With a stacked card starting to take shape, including a celebrity is always a risky move, as demonstrated at this year’s WWE WrestleMania, when JellyRoll and Pat McAfee were hastily introduced into the programming. That said, an athlete as popular as Tom Brady would likely draw all the attention from casual fans and the mainstream media.

The two have had ‘beef’ since the tension-filled podcast they did together while promoting an upcoming flag football game in Los Angeles back in March. The game was heavily anticipated by sports fans across the board, and there was a moment of contention during the game when Brady nailed Paul with the ball, like a scene out of The Waterboy starring Adam Sandler, proving the legendary QB still has ‘it.’
