We are in WrestleMania 42 week, and the WWE is everywhere in Las Vegas, NV, as they gear up for their “show of shows” this weekend.
Things kick off with WrestleMania 42 Night 1, where the main event will be Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, with Pat McAfee in Orton’s corner. This story has received mixed reviews, mostly because fans anticipated the mystery caller Orton was speaking to would be someone other than McAfee. Nevertheless, the WWE Undisputed World Title will be on the line, and the only question left to answer is whether Orton wins the title one last time or Rhodes retains it and becomes a heel.
The other matches are good, but the one that has my attention, aside from the main event, is Jacob Fatu vs. Drew McIntyre. It’s no secret that McIntyre will be taking time off to film a movie or series, so this has to be the moment when Fatu gets over and regains the momentum he had before being out with an injury.
Saturday’s card will be a good way to start the weekend.
