TNT Sports and DAZN host the second event of their multiyear partnership on Saturday night, August 1, as Lamont Roach Jr. and William Zepeda battle for the vacant WBC lightweight title at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 30-year-old Roach (25-1-3, 10 KOs) from Washington, D.C., is coming off back-to-back majority draws against Gervonta Davis and Isaac Cruz. This is another tough fight for him, but as he has shown in the past, Roach does not back down from a fight, so it’ll be interesting to see how this one plays out for him.

His opponent, Zepeda (33-1, 27 KOs), is coming off a 12-month layoff, as he was last seen dropping a unanimous decision to Shakur Stevenson. Zepeda is an all-action fighter and will test Roach’s skill and endurance. Who will come out victorious and become the new WBC lightweight champion?
