Add FightsATW on GoogleA new era has begun in TNA Wrestling following Nic Nemeth’s TNA World Championship win at “Slammiversary 2026.” And the newly minted titleholder had a lot to say on “Thursday Night iMPACT.” Also, the TNA Knockouts TV Championship tournament began with Allie vs. Heather by Elegance, and Mara Sade vs. Tasha Steelz. Plus, a new No. 1 contender for the TNA X Division Championship was determined.
KC Navarro Interrupts Nic Nemeth’s Championship Celebration
Ryan Nemeth got the show started to begin the championship celebration for his brother, Nic. Ryan demanded that fans show respect for the new TNA World Champion. Nic then made his way out. Nic then discussed his body count, and Ryan pulled out a long list. Nic clarified that the body count he was referring to included the big names he has defeated.
KC Navarro interrupted and admitted he’s a bit upset with Nic’s antics. Ryan continued to cut off Navarro before Nic berated both of them. He suggested that Navarro and Ryan have a singles match. Nic said fans are looking at the best professional wrestler in the world, and he dared anyone to challenge him.
Leon Slater Turns Attention to Eddie Edwards
Gia Miller was joined by Leon Slater. Miller asked Slater about his mindset going into a match against Eddie Edwards. Slater said he isn’t done with TNA X Division Champion Cedric Alexander. Slater admitted he needs to stay focused on Edwards. He called Edwards a “disgusting pig of a human being.”
Mara Sade vs. Tasha Steelz – TNA Knockouts TV Title Tournament
Pre-match comments from both Mara Sade and Tasha Steelz played before the bell rang. Sade looked for a quick backslide pin. Steelz had a jackknife cover, but Sade had her own pin counter. Steelz got nailed by a baseball slide. Sade leaped off the ring steps to deliver a dropkick.
Sade went for a kick, but Steelz caught the foot and tripped her opponent on the ring apron. Steelz hit Sade with the penalty kick for a two-count. She then locked up a camel clutch. Steelz gained wrist control and landed three clotheslines, followed by a falcon arrow.
Steelz climbed the top turnbuckle, but she missed a frog splash. She got back up and rushed the corner, but she crashed into the ring post. Sade then dove on her opponent. Back in the ring, Sade landed multiple punches and then a sling blade. Steelz whiffed on an enzuigiri, and she was dropped by a sitout powerbomb. Sade was caught in a neckbreaker. Steelz then sunk in Rings of Steel, but Sade countered with a pin attempt. Steelz went for a cutter, but Sade shoved her off. Steelz looked for a springboard move, but she ate a kick.
Sade was caught in a tree of woe, but Steelz ran into the bottom turnbuckle. Sade then connected with a moonsault to advance in the tournament.
Winner: Mara Sade
After the match, Mustafa Ali and Special Agent Zero didn’t appear to be too pleased with Tasha Steelz. Ali then made a phone call.
BDE and Rich Swann Speak Before No. 1 Contender Match
BDE and Rich Swann were backstage, and they understood that it’s every man for himself in the No. 1 contender match for the TNA X Division Championship.
Fabian Aichner vs. Rich Swann vs. Jason Hotch vs. BDE vs. The Hometown Man vs. Mr. Elegance – No. 1 Contender Match for TNA X Division Championship
Rich Swann and BDE exchanged counters before Mr. Elegance slammed Swann onto BDE. Fabian Aichner hit a springboard crossbody on The Hometown Man. He then scaled the top rope and hit a butterfly suplex on Swann. BDE went for a springboard cutter, but Aichner caught him. Jason Hotch took out Aichner and BDE with a springboard crossbody.
The Hometown Man dropped Hotch with an airplane spin into a TKO. He then dove on Aichner and Hotch. Mr. Elegance raked the eyes of The Hometown Man. BDE knocked Mr. Elegance off the apron with a springboard dropkick. He went for a suicide dive, but Mr. Elegance sent him crashing into the ring post.
Swan wiped out the field with a phoenix splash outside of the ring. Hotch hit a tower of doom on Mr. Elegance and Swann, who landed a moonsault on Aichner in the process. Hotch avoided Hometown Slice by landing a kick. Swann landed a handspring cutter on Hotch, but Mr. Elegance nailed him with Excusez-Moi.
BDE landed a frog splash on Mr. Elegance, but Aichner caught him in a sitout powerbomb to earn an X Division title shot.

Ricky Sosa Meets AJ Francis
Ricky Sosa was backstage and he ran into AJ Francis and Expressions. Francis and Expressions warned Sosa that if he crosses them, they’ll turn him into Ricky from “Boyz in the Hood.” Sosa did his entrance pose in front of both men before walking off.
Mustafa Ali Berates Order 4
Mustafa Ali told The Great Hands and Tasha Steelz he was disappointed in their complacency. Ali told Jason Hotch and John Skyler that he needs them to win matches.
Ricky Sosa Turns Down The System and The Righteous
Ricky Sosa entered the ring and looked back on his victory over Eric Young at “Slammiversary.” He said it was his first PPV, but he stood tall like a man. Sosa believes he proved that he belongs in TNA Wrestling, and this is just the beginning.
The Righteous interrupted the promo. Dutch said both he and Vincent keep hearing about the buzz around Sosa, but potential is lonely. Vincent said The Hardys began a new chapter thanks to The Righteous. He claimed that Sosa is limited being alone and offered him to join The Righteous.
The System then marched down the entrance ramp. Alisha urged Sosa not to follow The Righteous but to ride with The System instead. Eddie Edwards said the proof is in front of Sosa. Edwards bragged about The System’s accomplishments.
Vincent said The System only wants Sosa to join them because they see him as a threat. He then took a shot at Alisha throwing in the towel at “Slammiversary.” Sosa shut down both The System and The Righteous. Bear Bronson attacked Sosa, who fired back with a big boot.
The System then ganged up on Sosa before Leon Slater ran down and took out members of the faction. Bronson hit Slater with a clothesline. The numbers game was too much for Slater and Sosa.
Elijah Wants TNA Gold
Elijah addressed the issue of getting his intellectual property back from AJ Francis at “Slammiversary.” He played a tune on his new guitar. He admitted Francis and Expressions earned his respect. Elijah then said his sights are on TNA gold.
Allie w/Rosemary vs. Heather by Elegance w/M by Elegance – TNA Knockouts TV Title Tournament
Heather ambushed Allie before the bell rang. Allie fired up and clotheslined her opponent in the corner. She then hit a sliding forearm. Allie ran around the ring and nailed Heather with a shotgun dropkick. Allie tried getting back in the ring, but Heather drove her onto the top rope.
Back in the ring, Heather placed Allie over the middle rope and hit a dropkick to the back. Heather got in a headlock and slammed Allie down when she looked to escape. Heather missed a springboard moonsault. The two traded punches before Allie landed two clotheslines and a running knee strike.
Heather was choked over the top rope. Allie went for a superplex, but M got on the apron before Rosemary pulled her off. Heather knocked Allie off the top turnbuckle and hit a double foot stomp for the victory.
Winner: Heather by Elegance
Lei Ying Lee Isn’t Done With Xia Brookside
Newly crowned TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside addressed winning the title when she defeated Lei Ying Lee at “Slammiversary.” Brookside said she warned people that Lee was holding her back and she needed to reach her full potential. She said she hopes Lee learned something at “Slammiversary.”
Brookside warned the rest of the Knockouts division. She said she’ll do whatever it takes to keep her championship. Lee made her way out and said in an alternate world, she would’ve been happy about the result, but she doesn’t see Brookside as a champion. Instead, she sees a “fake b*tch.” Lee is exercising her rematch clause next week.
Brookside looked for a cheap shot, but she was cut off. Lee was going to hit Warrior’s Way, but the champion escaped. Lee said her rematch with Brookside will be no disqualification.
The Great Hands Get Another Tag Team Title Shot
Mustafa Ali spoke to Daria Rae and said he wants a favor. He asked for The Great Hands to challenge The Hardys for the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Rae made the title match official for next week.
KC Navarro vs. Ryan Nemeth
Nic Nemeth joined Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary. KC Navarro hit a sling blade early on. Navarro missed a double foot stomp, and Ryan yanked him down from the turnbuckle. He then hit a driveby kick on his opponent, followed by a neckbreaker.
Navarro delivered a clothesline, followed by a dropkick. He then splashed Ryan in the corner and hit a tornado DDT. Ryan avoided Blessing in Disguise, and Navarro ran into the middle turnbuckle. Ryan attempted a pin by holding the tights, but he couldn’t get the three.
Navarro hit the 305 and then Blessing in Disguise for the win.

Nic Nemeth Betrays KC Navarro
After KC Navarro defeated Ryan Nemeth, Nic Nemeth got both men to shake hands. Nic then took out Navarro with Danger Zone.
The Hardys Send Message to The Great Hands
The Hardys addressed The Great Hands receiving a tag team title shot next week. Jeff Hardy said Jason Hotch and John Skyler are a sacrifice. Jeff said the fans provide The Hardys with the fuel to become superhumans. Matt vowed to show The Great Hands why he and Jeff are the greatest team of all time.
Eddie Edwards w/Alisha vs. Leon Slater
Leon Slater immediately landed a side kick and delivered multiple punches in the corner. Eddie Edwards slowed down Slater’s momentum by catching him with a thumb to the eye. Slater popped his opponent with a reverse enzuigiri. He then nailed the former TNA World Champion with a big boot before diving on him outside of the ring.
Slater went for a wheel kick, but Edwards countered with a backbreaker. The former TNA X Division Champion was then sent for a ride off a back body drop. Edwards missed a moonsault, allowing Slater to hit two forearms. Slater bounced off the ropes and hit a wheel kick before landing a flying crossbody.
Edwards rebounded with a Backpack Stunner for a near fall. Slater fired back, but he was slammed down by a Tiger Bomb. Edwards ran into a Blue Thunder Bomb. Alisha got on the apron, and Slater hit a flying crossbody on an interfering Cedric Alexander. Edwards rolled Slater up for the pinfall.
Winner: Eddie Edwards
Ricky Sosa Saves Leon Slater
After the match, Alexander and Edwards ambushed Slater before Ricky Sosa evened the odds. Sosa and Slater sent The System packing to end the show.
