Add FightsATW on GoogleTNA Wrestling is gearing up for “Lockdown,” and there was a TNA World Championship match between Nic Nemeth and KC Navarro on the road to the August 23 pay-per-view. Also featured on “TNA Thursday Night iMPACT,” The Righteous visited The Hardy Compound for their “Final Deletion.” The TNA Knockouts TV Title tournament also rolled on.
Elijah and Moose vs. Frankie Kazarian and AJ Francis
Elijah and Frankie Kazarian got the match started. Elijah delivered his Walk With Elijah move. Moose was tagged in, and Kazarian immediately ran to AJ Francis. Expressions tripped Elijah when the referee wasn’t looking, allowing Francis to hit Tennessee Whiskey.
Eventually, the legal men were Moose and Kazarian, who ate a big chop. Moose hit his uranage into a senton combo before Francis clubbed him in the back. Moose hit a dive on Francis outside of the ring. Moose looked for a spear, but Kazarian countered with a backstabber. Moose kicked out after being hit by a springboard leg drop.
Francis was the legal man again. Elijah got the tag, and he went for Walk With Elijah again. Expressions shook the top rope, allowing Francis to hit a brainbuster for the win.
Winners: AJ Francis and Frankie Kazarian
Expressions wanted to do some more damage after the match, but Moose gave him a headbutt. Elijah took out Expressions with the Highwaymen’s Farewell.
Mustafa Ali Awaits No. 1 Contender
Order 4 was backstage, and Mustafa Ali claimed his faction has put the power back to the people. Mila Moore, Order 4’s newest member, was holding the TNA International Championship. Ali wished everyone good luck in the vote to challenge him.
Elayna Black vs. Wendy Choo – TNA Knockouts TV Championship Tournament Match
Elayna Black and Wendy Choo tied up early before Black delivered a knee to the midsection. Black mocked Choo and told her that she runs TNA Wrestling. Choo took Black down and returned the disrespect.
Choo had a quick roll-through pin attempt before delivering a hip toss, followed by a dropkick. Black sat on the apron and hit her opponent with a cutter before driving her head onto the apron. Black chopped Choo, who tried fighting back but ate a clothesline. Back in the ring, Choo went for a rollup, but Black got out of it and hit another clothesline.
Black popped Choo with a high knee in the corner, but she still couldn’t put her opponent away. Choo fired up and hit a series of strikes on Black. She grabbed the arm of Black and spun her around for a lariat. She then delivered a running kick in the corner, followed by a running neckbreaker.
Choo cut Black off on the turnbuckle and dropped her with a DDT for a two-count. Black delivered a knee to the sternum and then a belly-to-belly, but she only got a near fall. Choo got planted by the Black Out, but she was able to roll out of the ring to avoid a pin attempt.
Black went to the top turnbuckle, but Choo popped her with an uppercut. Black got drilled by a superplex. The bell rang because the match exceeded the time limit.

Xia Brookside Ambushes Elayna Black and Wendy Choo
Elayna Black and Wendy Choo both wanted to extend their TNA Knockouts TV Title tournament match, but TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside shoved Black into the ring steps. When Choo was checking on Black, Brookside ambushed her as well.
After Brookside walked off, Black and Choo shook hands in a sign of Black’s eventual face turn.
Mila Moore Plays Peacemaker Within Order 4
Rosemary, Allie, Rich Swann, Ryan Nemeth, and Cedric Alexander put in their vote to determine the No. 1 contender match for the TNA International Championship. Mustafa Ali scolded John Skyler of The Great Hands for touching the ballet box. When everyone else walked off, Mila Moore gave Skyler some words of encouragement.
The System Interrupted by Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater
All members of The System had some words for Ricky Sosa, Leon Slater, and Fabian Aichner. Alisha Edwards said everyone likes the flavor of the month until reality hits. Bear Bronson claimed he “decimated” Sosa. He said Sosa is nothing more than a theme song. Brian Myers said people come and go in TNA, but the dominance of The System will remain.
Cedric Alexander said if any TNA star wishes to guarantee their success, they need to align with The System. Alexander then bragged about his victories over Slater and Aichner. Eddie Edwards said The System is TNA Wrestling’s “quality control.” He warned Jada Stone that she will be “beaten and embarrassed” when she faces Alisha in the TNA Knockouts TV Title tournament.
Sosa made his way out. He said he may be new in TNA Wrestling, but The System can’t keep “The Young Savage” down. He then reminded Bronson that he needed help from Myers in their match last week. Edwards said Sosa should’ve joined them when he had the chance.
Slater’s music hit, and “The Youngest in Charge” told The System that he has Sosa’s back. He said The System can’t do anything without shenanigans. Slater then challenged Alexander and Myers to a tag team match, but Edwards said the match won’t happen until next week.
No. 1 Contender Revealed
Daria Ray announced the No. 1 contender for the TNA International Championship. Jason Hotch was announced as the winner. Mustafa Ali insisted that Hotch wasn’t truly voted for, and the locker room was ribbing him. He told Hotch to find Rae and tell her that the whole voting process was a sham.
Mr. Elegance w/Elegance Brand vs. BDE w/Rich Swann
This match was a TNA+ and AMC+ exclusive. BDE went for a springboard crossbody, but Mr. Elegance moved out of the way. He delivered knee strikes to BDE’s ribs. Mr. Elegance went for a suplex, but his opponent slipped out. BDE hit two forearms and a splash in the corner. He delivered the Clip Cutter for a two-count. Mr. Elegance delivered a big slap before hitting the lung blower.
BDE hit a rolling Codebreaker before going high-risk and nailing a frog splash. He went for the pin, but M by Elegance put Mr. Elegance’s foot on the bottom rope. BDE grabbed The Personal Concierge, but Mr. Elegance hit Excusez-Moi for the victory.
Winner: Mr. Elegance
The Righteous Deletion Commences
Vincent and Dutch of The Righteous made the trip to The Hardy Compound. Matt Hardy woke up and got things ready for “Final Deletion.” The Hardys and The Righteous were walking towards each other. Matt said it was time for The Righteous to be deleted before both teams brawled.
Vincent and Jeff were fighting, while Matt was slammed onto a dilapidated boar by Dutch. Vincent hit The Hardys with a shovel. The Righteous charged at The Hardys with the boat, but both Matt and Jeff teleported. The Righteous did the same, and both teams found themselves in an empty ring. Dutch slammed Matt to the canvas. He then missed a splash in the corner. Matt hit Twist of Fate on Vincent before The Hardys delivered a double suplex. Dutch was then hit with a Twist of Fate, but Vincent prevented Jeff from landing a Swanton Bomb.
Matt hit another Twist of Fate on Dutch, who managed to kick out. Matt went for another one, but he was shoved off and ran into a sidewalk slam. Matt fought off Dutch outside of the ring. Dutch shoved Matt into the ring post.
Jeff rammed Vincent’s head into a wall before both men collapsed. The Righteous was then shown reminiscing on their fandom for The Hardys. Meanwhile, Matt bit Dutch’s fingers. Matt hit a bulldog on Dutch into a pool. There was then a scene where The Hardys and The Righteous hung out, reminiscing about the “good old days,” before Dutch was told that Vincent had died.
Vincent was in a casket, but he ended up shoving Lily the flower in Dutch’s mouth. The Hardy family took turns stomping Dutch, who found himself with Willow, who attacked him. All of what Dutch was seeing was while he was still underwater before finally breaking free.
Vincent dropped Jeff with a DDT. He then grabbed fireworks before Matt cut him off. Dutch ran over to aid Vincent. Both teams shot fireworks at each other. Vincent shoved the poisoned flower in Matt’s mouth. Matt began to foam, but The Hardys emerged from the Lake of Reincarnation.
Jeff Hardy turned to his “Another Me” persona. Dutch was placed on two tables. Jeff got on top of a tractor and hit the Swanton Bomb to score the pin. Matt announced that The Righteous has been deleted, but now they must be cleansed. They put Vincent and Dutch into the Lake of Reincarnation.
Jason Hotch Has A Decision to Make
Jason Hotch was approaching Daria Rae’s office when Leon Slater urged him not to listen to Mustafa Ali. Hotch then received a call, and he was finally a bit relieved.
Alisha Edwards w/Eddie Edwards vs. Jada Stone – TNA Knockouts TV Title Match
Alisa told Jada Stone that it’s her ring before the two tied up. Alisha pulled Stone down by the hair, but her opponent fought back. Stone ducked a clothesline and got Alisha in a headscissors takedown. Then hit a basement forearm followed by a standing moonsault for a two-count.
Stone knocked Alisha off the apron, but Eddie caught her.
Stone then dove on Eddie, but Alisha knocked her to the floor. Back in the ring, Alisha hit a couple of chops. Stone charged at Alisha, but she caught her in a powerslam. Eddie yelled at Stone and called her a “flavor of the month.” Stone fired up with two clotheslines. She delivered a high kick to Alisha before hitting the split-legged moonsault for a two-count. Alisha raked the eyes of her opponent before hitting Delish for a near fall. Alisha popped Stone with a forearm, but she ran into a superkick.
Stone went for a handspring stunner, but Eddie tripped her when the referee wasn’t looking. Alisha failed to capitalize, as Stone countered with a pin for the victory.
Winner: Jada Stone
Alisha attacked Stone after the match, but when things didn’t go her way, she was pulled out of the ring by Eddie.
Jason Hotch Keeps Title Shot Against Mustafa Ali
Mustafa Ali was walking backstage before Jason Hotch walked up to him. Hotch said he didn’t do what Ali requested. Ali asked for the rest of Order 4 to leave. Hotch told Ali that he got a call from his wife, and she urged him to take the TNA International Championship match. Hotch will indeed challenge Ali next week.
Nic Nemeth (c) vs. KC Navarro – for the TNA World Championship
Nic Nemeth slapped KC Navarro and told him he didn’t deserve to be in the ring. Navarro popped him with a superkick for a near fall. Nemeth raked Navarro’s eyes and choked him in the corner. The champion kicked the surgically repaired left knee of Navarro.
The challenger fired back with chops, but Nemeth punched him down in the corner. Navarro ducked a clothesline and took down the champion with a head scissors. Navarro hit a basement splash for a near fall. Nemeth exited the ring, but Navarro caught him in a suicide dive. Navarro hit a frog splash at the center of the ring, but Nemeth got his shoulder up. Nemeth avoided the 305 and delivered a neckbreaker from the middle rope.
Nemeth hit a splash in the corner, but he went for it again and found the turnbuckles. Navarro delivered a dropkick that sent Nemeth into the corner. The challenger dropped Nemeth with a reverse DDT that turned into a face plant. Navarro charged in and narrowly ducked a superkick.
Navarro ran into the turnbuckle post, but he countered the famouser with a powerbomb for a close two-count. Navarro went for Blessing in Disguise, but the two entered a pin exchange. Navarro hit a famouser, but Nemeth kicked out. Navarro then tried Blessing in Disguise again, but Nemeth landed a superkick. Navarro somehow kicked out at two.
Nemeth trash-talked Navarro before getting slapped and eating the 305. Navarro landed Code Red for another close near fall. He set up for Blessing in Disguise, but Nemeth shoved him off and hit Danger Zone for the win.
