With just days remaining before WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas, NV, press and social media engagement have gone up a few ticks as we approach the “show of shows.”
The main event for WrestleMania 42 Night 2 is CM Punk defending his WWE World Heavyweight Title against Roman Reigns in a match that took an awkward turn on Monday Night RAW. They went from tearing each other down in weeks past to complimenting each other in their own way. Regardless, this match is highly anticipated, as there is uncertainty about how it ends and whether anyone gets involved.
To a large percentage of fans, the real main event is Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar, which will kick off the ESPN version of the show. The WWE is also aware of the anticipation among fans, as they held three different contract-signing episodes, something that hadn’t been done for any of the main events. When the two big men collide at Allegiant Stadium, it will be a sight to see.
