YouTuber True Geordie Believes That Tyson Fury ‘Does Not Give a F**k’ About Boxing

Two-time former unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) recently proved his mettle against former UFC superstar Francis Ngannou (0-2) in a sensational showdown at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. Ngannou had formerly held his ground against heavyweight champ Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs). While both boxers showed considerable skill against ‘The Predator,’ YouTuber True Geordie feels like Joshua was a better opponent than Fury.

In the latest episode of his show, Geordie left no stone unturned while talking about his disappointment in Fury. He mentioned that Fury has not been as dedicated to boxing as Joshua was. He stated that Joshua deserves all the victories he has gotten. Moreover, he added that AJ’s “physical attributes and those gifts” were well deserved as he was willing to put in the work.

“And do you know who’s not willing to do that? Tyson Fury. He’s not as brave as AJ. He’s not as dedicated as AJ. He’s not as hard-working as AJ. And AJ now has left him behind because he stayed dedicated,” Geordie said. “And as much as it was a bit of a phrase that AJ used to use of stay humble, stay hungry, that’s exactly why he is ahead of Fury now.”

He further went on to accuse Fury of carrying himself like a “twat” and not being the hungry fighter that he once was. “You owe it to your fans to do that, and AJ, I think cares. I actually think he gives a f**k about that. I think he actually wants to set the standard and be seen as ‘I was a fighting man,’ ‘I fought everyone’”, he said. “Fury doesn’t give a f**k about that.”

What’s next for Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury?

Fury is currently set to face Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) in a long-awaited showdown, and it looks like he might soon have an opportunity to face Joshua.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman revealed that the Joshua vs Fury fight is certainly in the books for the near future. “The WBC was presented a sanction request which was to fight for the undisputed. The WBC accepted that sanctioning and we accepted the rematch they have requested,” he said in an interview with Sky Sports. “But, if it is not anything to do with contractual or promotion, we would absolutely accept the winner to fight Joshua.”
